HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD

In commemoration of International Girls Day,  APC Chieftain and 2023 House of Representatives candidate in Ifelodun, Boripe, and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency, Chief Dr. Adekunle Moshood Oluawo (Moshadek), calls for quality education for girls, celebrating their strength, resilience, and in built intellectuals and potentials.

In a statement issued by his media office, Moshadek says:

"Today, I join the global community in celebrating International Day of the Girl child, recognizing the power and potential of girls globally. This year's theme emphasizes the importance of quality education in unlocking girls' futures."

"Education is the foundation upon which children, our future leaders build their lives, which girls should not be excluded" Moshadek emphasized. "We believe every girl out there deserves access to quality education, empowering them to break barriers and achieve their dreams."

Hon. Moshadek highlights the key affecting girls globally 

130 million girls worldwide are out of school (UNICEF) 

Girls' education can reduce child marriage rates by 66% (Girls Not Grey Foundation)

 Educated girls can increase their earning potential by up to 20% (World Bank)

In light of this, Moshadek Advocates for Increased investment in girls' education initiatives, Improved access to quality educational resources, Mentorship programs promoting girls' empowerment, and Policy reforms supporting girls' education.
