Adeniyi Ismail Oluwaseun (AIO) Calls on Osun State Youth to Leverage Renewable Energy Empowerment Program

Adeniyi Ismail Oluwaseun (AIO), a strong advocate for youth empowerment, has urged young people across Osun State to take advantage of the National Lottery Trust Fund’s (NLTF) renewable energy initiative, aimed at equipping youth with valuable skills in solar panel production and renewable energy solutions. 

This program, launched in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Power, seeks to provide skills training in the production of 1KVA solar panels, especially to vulnerable and rural youth. The training will enable young participants to create energy solutions that support small businesses such as phone charging centers, barber shops, and agricultural product preservation.

“In Osun State, we have a unique opportunity to empower our youth, especially those in underserved areas, by giving them the tools to thrive in the renewable energy sector,” Oluwaseun said. “This program is a direct response to the vision set forth by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to improve employment and electricity access, and I encourage every young person in the state to seize this chance.”

Oluwaseun emphasized that the Youth Parliament he is championing will play a pivotal role in spreading awareness about this initiative, ensuring that young people from across the state are well-informed and can take full advantage of the training opportunities available.

“This initiative is not just about improving electricity access; it’s about economic empowerment. By learning these skills, our youth can become self-employed, build businesses, and contribute to the growth of their communities,” Oluwaseun added. “I strongly encourage Osun State youth to embrace this program and be part of the renewable energy transformation.”

The NLTF’s program aligns with the Federal Government’s broader efforts to reduce the percentage of Nigerians without reliable electricity, currently at 42%, by promoting renewable solutions in rural areas. The initiative will help to build a new generation of entrepreneurs, contributing to both energy security and economic growth.
