Of the men and women of the Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC) who surged forward to flag the party in the next local government council election, some were cleared, and others, not; but as a matter of factly, all of you are good people of the party and qualified. 

Continuing, Dr Thomas Ogungbangbe, the APC chieftain from Osun East of the state said, "the party needs all of you at all times, going by your patriotism and goodwill to progressive governance, that tells, by our common purpose and noble endeavour, we remain true to the policies and ideals of the party, and ready to serve."

He made the clarification at the weekend in Lagos, at the fètes thrown by some groups of party men and women on the occasion of the birthday celebration of Senator Remi Tinubu, wife of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, charging the cross sections of the party to put greater emphasis on the progressive avowal that unites the party, proactively mobilize the Osun electorate and set the eyes at the edge of the spear, to be victorious in the upcoming electoral battle.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CITA ENERGIES Limited described the First Lady as the heart and conscience of the nation, on whose wheel the presidency moves, having the ears of the President and rally behind him for the good of our collective collective enterprise as a nation. 

The aviation fuel magnate noted, "the First Lady's comportment is inspiring; her efforts, aspiring and recognized; and her contributions, significant and pragmatic, towards providing responsible and good governance."  

Reflecting on the state of the nation, Prince Ogungbangbe, the heir apparent to the Ajagbusi Ekun of Iloko Ijesa in Oriade local government council area of Osun lauded the First Lady on her husband's shots at correcting the wrongs inherited and frontally, tackle the nation's challenges in economy, politics and society that has put Nigeria on the rightful course of safety net for the poor masses and development of the nation.
