In a show of unity and support, Distinguished Senator Mudashiru Husain, a foremost leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ejigbo Local Government, hosted the party's Chairmanship, Vice Chairmanship, and councillorship candidates for the forthcoming Local Government election.

The meeting, which took place yesterday at his Ejigbo residence, provided an opportunity for the candidates to express their gratitude to Senator Husain for his role in ensuring a peaceful and transparent primary election process. 

Senator Husain commended the candidates and party’s stakeholders for their display of brotherhood and adherence to the principles of progressive politics.

"I appreciate your visit and salute your commitment to our party's values," Senator Husain said. "We have selected the best candidates to represent our party, and I am confident of our victory. Our candidates are capable, competent, and well-versed in governance and grassroots development."

Senator Husain pledged his full support to all the candidates, wishing them a successful campaign and victory in the election. He emphasized the importance of promoting the wellbeing of citizens and providing good governance to all areas of the Local Government.

Hon Kolapo Olayanju, the Chairmanship candidate, thanked Senator Husain for his leadership and guidance, acknowledging his significant contributions to the party's success. "We appreciate your support and pray for your continued blessings," Hon Olayanju said.

The meeting was attended by the Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship candidates, eleven councillorship candidates, former Supervisory Councillors, and other party stakeholders, including Hon Gbolahan Ayegbayo, Hon Yusuf Lakas, Hon Ebun Oloyede, Hon (Barrister) Ojekale, Hon Buhari Akase, and the MOH Media Team.

This gathering demonstrates the APC's unity and commitment to winning the forthcoming Local Government election, with Senator Husain's leadership and support playing a crucial role in the party's success.
