Aragbiji urges youths to shun protest, Advocates constructive dialogue

The esteemed Aragbiji of Iragbijiland and the Pro-Chancellor/Chairman Governing Council of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Hrm. Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi (JP) FCIPM, FNIM, MNIPR, FAFUED, FOSCOTECH Odundun IV Asoludero, has advised youths to shelve the planned protest advocating  dialogue to resolve national issues.

The monarch, in his statement released through his press officer, Akinmodiro Sunday Joshua, tasked the religious leaders, Parents, Political leaders and all leaders of thoughts to preach the gospel of dialogue and to sensitize youths in Osun state and in Nigeria as a  whole on why dialogue remains the best way to achieve results.

“This is the time to sensitize Osun State youths and Nigeria, on how the youths can join hands with the government to build a better nation rather than taking laws into their hands".

The bitter taste of the 1983 Political turmoil in many States in Yorubaland as well as the last #Endsars# imbroglio are still fresh in our memory. The monumental killing, maiming, wanton destruction of properties especially in Lagos and few other States can not be forgotten in a hurry.

Many hoodlums are poised to take advantage of any form of protest to wreck havoc on our land.

Please don't protest in Osun State. Engage our Governor and believe in our collective ability to banish hunger in our land. 

“I urged you to engage other youths and ensure that dialogue tops your agenda at all times” Aragbiji said.
