Aragbiji advocates Responsible Leadership, Patience, @Annual Ramadan lectures of INEC; Osun Public Muslim Community & Nig. Police Zone Xl

On Thursday, March 21st 2024, the renowned Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Hrm. Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi (JP) FCIPM, FNIM, MNIPR, Odundun IV Asoludero, attended the 7th Annual Ramadan lecture 1445AH of  Osun State INEC Muslim Community at Olusegun Agbaje Media Centre, Osogbo, Osun State.

The Guest Speaker Sheikh Sannu Sehu (Mufasiru of Ilorin) who extensively discussed the challenges and solutions to the problems facing the nation, admonished the public to obey our leaders and stop placing curses on them, and that what we Nigerians need at this stage is to pray for our leaders to lead us to the promise land. He emphasized that curses make things worse, and implored the public to shun such acts and accept it as the will of Almighty Allah which will change for the better soon. 

Oba Olabomi who was the Royal Father of the occasion, admonished the public to shun negative thoughts and to believe in Allah, that He is the only one who gives rest to who He wishes. 

Additionally, he said, the land which Almighty Allah gave to us is flourishing with milk and honey, we should make use of the land for farming and stop relying on government for free food. Our land is blessed with good resources and we should take good care of our health and watch the kind of food we consume always. "Health is wealth" Aragbiji said.

The Ramadan lecture was witnessed by Olororuwo of Ororuwo, Hrm. Oba Qamarudeen Adeyemi Bello, Alayemoye of Ido-Osun, Akire of Ikire-Ile. The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Inec Osun, Dr. Mtiu Agboke was the Chief Host with other  Inec staff irrespective of religion and other Guests were in attendance. Alh. Adekunle, Aare Musulumi of OSOGBO was the Chairman of the occasion.

Thereafter Oba Olabomi accompanied by Olororuwo of Ororuwo graced the public service Muslim Ummah (PSMU) annual Ramadan lecture which held at State Secretariat Mosque, Abere, Osogbo, Osun State.

Oba Olabomi who was the BOT Chairman of Osun State Muslim Community in his keynote address felicitates all Muslims on the occasion of Ramadan fast and prayed for a successful conclusion to the annual obligatory duty.

Aragbiji's train moved to the Nigeria Police Zone Xl Muslim Community Annual Ramadan lecture together with the Olororuwo of Ororuwo. The program was almost concluded but Kaabiyesi supported the mosque project in a modest way.
