Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola's administration's positive impact is being felt in all the nooks and crannies of the state which is what is prompting a group of workers at the UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital(former LAUTECH) under the name, 'Group 2012', to join the fray of those acknowledging the developmental trends.

The group which craves for anonymity in a disclosure in Osogbo, the Osun State capital yesterday hinted that the systematic, humane, listening and fatherly approach of the state governor to all knotty issues has given him an additional plus over his peers.

According to the group, it would always remain indelible in their members' memory how Governor Oyetola removed the tears of sorrow from them by having the temerity to correct some administrative wrongs which are now beneficial to their members. 

The appreciative Osun Government Hospital staff also applauded the glaring efforts of the Oyetola administration towards the increasing of the fortune of the establishment by way of rehabilitation and asphalting of the road leading to the hospital which was almost impassable for years.

The recent purchase and subsequent installation of a 500 KVA A power-generator, first of its kind for any establishment in the state, by the Oyetola administration is another indication that it prioritizes healthcare delivery sector, the group stated.

The 2012 Group also applauded the refusal of the Oyetola administration to be distracted by those who do not mean well for the progress of the hospital through sponsorship of irritating, baseless and fabricated publications which intention could not be for any other reason but self-serving. 

According to the group, the management of the hospital under the leadership of Professor Olaitan, the Chief Medical Director, has been working assiduously round the clock to key into the people-friendly healthcare delivery policy of the current administration in the state.

"The team-working attribute of the CMD has been a worthy noticeable endowment that has been working wonders in the day-to-day running and management of the hospital.

"Professor Olaitan and his team of management staff all have listening ears and can-do spirit with which they are carrying the hospital staff along", the group noted.

The appreciative Group 2012 also acknowledged the numerous interventions of the Osun State Apc Caretaker Chairman Prince Adegboyega Famodun not forgetting the Head of Service, Dr Olowogboyega Oyebade, the state chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Jacob Adekomi, JNC Chairman Baba Adejumo, JOHESU UNIOSUNTH led by Comrade Adegoke Adeola and all  other labour leaders in the state who were always there for the members during the period of their travails in order to get the administrative anomaly corrected.
