Oladepo describes OGS founders as visionaries............says they saw the future and invested greatly in it

The Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation, Hon. Sola Oladepo yesterday 26th of February, 2021 unveiled the marble superscription of the recently constructed towery gate of the Osogbo Grammer School, Osogbo christened 'Keep Pushing'.

Oladepo whom himself is an old boy of Osogbo Grammer School lauded the 72/76 alumni set for deeming it fit to give back to their cradle of knowledge. The Commissioner painted the occasion as memorable and duty call while showering encomiums on the founding fathers of the citadel, says "they saw the future and invested greatly in it, everything they sowed to float Osogbo Grammer School to the center-stage cannot be quantified".

The Project designated as the *"Legacy Gate"* donated by the 72/76 Set of the school was dedicated and commissioned to the glory of God and benefit of humanity by Osogbo Grammar School Alumni National President - Prof. Olufisayo Ologunde, Chairman of OGS Governing Board - Mr. Adewale Adedapo, President 72/76 Set - Sir. Demola Aladekomo, Principal of Osogbo Grammar School, Mrs. Kemi Adetuberu and the Vice President of OGS Set 72 - 76 - Dr. (Mrs.) Omolara Adeyemo respectively.

Sir Demola Aladekomo on behalf of the 72/76 Set, sued that OGS is a fountain that has and will continue to upswing excellence, nobility, character among men and women of great repute, he challenged all to give life to the testament of the 72/76 Set quoted as: _" _nurture this patrimony so that it will be sustained in its mission of disseminating knowledge and banishing ignorance for succeeding generations"._
