Governor State of Osun, Mr Gboyega Oyetola innugurate the executive of Federation of Informal Workers Organization of Nigeria (FIWON) Tax Advocacy Group (FITAG), On Thursday,

Osun Governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola has admonished citizens of the state to imbibe the culture of tax payment.
Governor Oyetola stated this at the Formal Inauguration of Executives and Public Presentation of FIWON TAX ADVOCACY GROUP.
The Governor stressed that the only means by which a government can survive is for its citizens to pay all their taxes, levies and dues at appropriate time.
" We are looking forward to you to increase our Internal Generated Revenue (IGR) to be able to move our state to greater heights".
Governor Oyetola commends the artisans for their steadfastness in revenue generation.
He however charged them not to limit their advocacy to their groups alone but rather, spread it to every nooks and crannies of the State.
Governor Oyetola opened that Minning is another way by which the State of Osun can generate more revenue and this will involve Youths, thereby creating employment opportunity.
He said among the 36 states in Nigeria, 4 states are endowed with minerals resources.
The state includes Zamfara, Niger, Kebbi and Osun.
He stressed that Osun and Kebbi have been selected to pilot the scheme.
The deputy Governor, Mr. Benedict Alabi congratulated the executives members of the organization and charged them to represent well.
