OSUN 2026: OLOHUNLALARO, THOUSANDS OF APC SUPPORTERS STORM IKIRUN IN MASSIVE “WALK TO VICTORY FOR AMBO

The campaign for the 2026 Osun State governorship election assumed a new level of grassroots intensity on Tuesday as Alhaji Abdulraheem Muhammed-Saheed Omokehinde, Ọlọ́hunláláró, led thousands of enthusiastic All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters on a massive “Walk to Victory” across Ikirun in Ifelodun Local Government Area.

The streets of Ikirun came alive as party supporters, youths, women, community mobilisers and loyalists of the APC trooped out in large numbers, turning the exercise into a powerful display of grassroots energy and political solidarity.

The walk, organised under the banner of Team NARON for AMBO, was part of the ongoing mobilisation campaign for the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).

From the starting point through major routes and communities in Ikirun, the procession attracted attention from residents as supporters marched with campaign materials, chanting solidarity songs and expressing their commitment to the AMBO project.

For Ọlọ́hunláláró, the massive turnout represents the strength of grassroots politics and the growing determination of supporters to take ownership of the campaign.

He reiterated that Team NARON would continue to engage directly with residents across Ifelodun Local Government, stressing the importance of reaching the people at the community, ward and polling-unit levels.

The mobilisation further demonstrated the expanding network of grassroots support being built around the AMBO campaign, particularly in Ikirun and surrounding communities.

As the August 15 election draws closer, the APC campaign continues to intensify its engagement across Osun State, with Team NARON promising to sustain its community-based mobilisation until the final day of the campaign.

From Ikirun to the grassroots, the message from the streets is loud and unmistakable: the march for AMBO has entered another gear.
