Another Attack Of Our Members By Accord Party Thugs In Amotekun Uniform In Okinni Is Reprehensible - Osun APC Cries Out

*...Canvasses Intervention Of State Stakeholders, Police
The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appealled to all the stakeholders in the state project to warn the state Governor Ademola Adeleke to stop his desperate ambition for his re-election to turn the state into a theatre of violence and killings.
Just yesterday as usual, some members of our party were seriously wounded by the goons of the governor who were putting on Amotekun uniform in Okinni community in Egbedore Local Government Council Area of the state.
It was reliably gathered that some suspected Accord Party hoodlums dressed in Amotekun uniforms stormed the community in a Toyota Sienna bus and a Forerunner Jeep, firing sporadically in the community.
Information has it that the target of the Accord Party political thugs was an APC member, Mr. Muideen Oyeladun, popularly known as 'Akilapa', who had been relaxing in his wife's shop with his political allies after returning from a social function.
The attackers descended on the shop, shooting at everyone in sight, and while some managed to flee, several others were hit by bullets and collapsed in pools of blood as the assailants sped away into the night.
The wounded APC members have been rushed to a private hospital in Osogbo, the state capital, for comprehensive treatment. The attack on our members by the Governor Adeleke hoodlums is becoming unbearable as it has become a daily occurrence few weeks to the governorship election.
Is it by force that the people of Osun State must be served by the reactionary administration of Governor Adeleke? Is it our party or our governorship candidate for the forthcoming 15th August, 2026 election that are responsible for the total rejection of the incumbent governor who is desperately seeking re-election?
Must the state continue to be in the news all the time for negative reasons under the confused administration of Governor Adeleke whose hallmark is do-or-die politics? Those thinking for the outgoing Governor Adeleke must cover their faces in shame as there's nothing to show that they are doing a diligent work in effectively managing their principal.
The stakeholders in the Osun State project should come forward to do the needful before Governor Adeleke kills all the inhabitants of the state.
As a peace-loving party which believes in the rules of law, we shall continue to appeal to the police not to relent in their efforts to fish out the sponsors and footsoldiers of the needless attacks of our members by the hit squad of the governor who are ubiquitous in the nooks and crannies of the state.
